Hallmarking is an official mark which is accepted Internationally on the precious metal articles. In India, Hallmarking is compulsory for the certified jewelers to sale or manufacture the jewelry or artefacts. The BIS certified jewelry mark is compulsory from any of the Assay and Hallmarking centres, which is registered under Bureau of Indian Standard. The hallmark is must for consisting purity and fineness in case of Fine Gold 999, for Standard Gold 995 & gold alloy for jewellery & artefacts 916, 750 & 585. In case of Fine silver 999.9, 999.5,999.0 while silver alloy for jewellery & artefacts 990, 970, 925, 900, 835 & 800.

The prohibited elements can be found out with the testing of jewelry and artefacts at Hallmarking centre. Hallmark protects the end user from exploitation, adulteration and manipulation of any precious metal from the certified and non certified jewellers.

NCH hallmarking centre works and follows the Indian Standards 15820 : 2009 for acquiring qualitative management procedures and IS 1418 : 2016 & IS 2113 : 2014 for Assay Laboratory for testing the gold and silver jewellery and artefacts.

Currently, NCH Services P Ltd. is working at Surat, Valsad & Navsari. While NCH has occupied and achieved the new areas with its outstanding efforts at Ghod Dhod Road and Vapi. NCH is stepping the ladder of development with every coming year. NCH being the part of Indian Association of Assaying and Hallmarking Centre.

Hallmarking

NCH is BIS approved Assaying and Hallmarking Centre since 2007.

We are available at Surat Bhagal, Surat Ghod Dod Road, Surat Ichchapore, Valsad, Navsari, Vapi and Mumbai Sewree centre.

XRF Testing

X-Ray Fluorescence Machine is used in testing the jewelry and artefacts quickly. The XRF machine helps in identifying the BIS prohibited elements in the jewelry like Cadmium, Ruthenium, Iridium, Osmium, etc. It is the principle and fundamental process of Assay and Hallmarking Centre. The quick assessination of each jewelry with the accurate report of purity and fineness can be known.

Laser Marking

Laser marking on jewellery can be done of logo, diamond weight etc. It helps in value addition of ornaments. This facility is available at Surat, Ghod Dod Road, Valsad, Navsari and Vapi centre.

Photo Testing

The accurate report of the jewelery on the Photo card for the satisfaction of the customer is absolutely a complementary service which is provided by hallmarking centre. Colorful smart card certificate along with ornament photo is issued of XRF testing. It remained useful to both the jewelers and the end user.

Laser Soldering

It is useful in repairing of finished jewellery. It solders just beside stone and meena without any damage. No need to polish jewellery again. This facility is available at Surat, Ghod Dod Road, Navsari and Valsad centre.

Silver Hallmarking

Laser marking on Silver jewellery can be done of logo, diamond weight etc. It helps in value addition of ornaments. This facility is available at Bhagal Surat only.

Silver TG

The accurate report, determination of elements present in the jewelry and artefacts can be known thoroughly. The most accurate method of determining the Silver content in the silver alloy. Following IS 2113 for generating the excellent result, after initiating the process of 4 hours.
